We are Alice Reading (Forest) and Alan Michael Thomas (Forster)

Actually only one of us is real but this Forest’s Dream intends to fix that.

Both known by the Chinese Name: 林溪流

We are currently STEM teachers, Alan is in the blue universe called the Violetnverse and Alice is in the red universe called the Rosenprose. Depending on which universe you are in, one is frictional and the other is reality.

We both aim to engage in multi-interdisciplinary synchronistic art projects. This spells out:

Mi SAP - which is a way of saying the Forest is giving blood.

How did we end up with Forest as a name?

For Alan it is simple, my surname is Forster and it is anagram minus the r. I also identified a lot with the Peter Panisms of Forest Gump. My life up to this point has been the reverse of another Tom Hanks movie - Big and I did experience recently a condensed version of The Terminal.

For Alice she marries a gentleman called Apple Lin (Lin Apple) who is from Hong Kong and takes his name, she shortens her maiden name: Reading and hyphenates it with Lin which means forest in English to Redforest, a reference to both Call of Duty Modern Warfare and its real life manifestation in The Ukraine at the moment which unfortunately is a war that rumbles in both realities.

Reading vs Thomas - Well I have the surname Thomas because my paternal grandfathers surname was Thomas.. he very unconventionally took his wife’s name back in the 1950s when they had my father Michael together.. I should be Alan Michael Thomas by the traditional naming conventions. I choose Reading for my alter ego Alice Reading because of the homophonic overtones (not homophobic, learn to red!).

Thomas is blue for me because of Thomas the tank engine, Reading is Red for obvious reasons.

One of these days there will be an Alice Reading Festival. A Little Red, Alice Reading Festival!

So Alice and I or Alan and I, both come to the same conclusion we will call ourselves Forest, and we will append this with additional words depending on the medium that we intend to massage in (I know how to smell, I deliberately include malapropisms, spoonerisms, analgrams and other worm games to show off).

Forest - My pen name when I am using many pens, visual art

Forest Dream - For children’s stories (also readable by adults but only the special ones)

Forest Steam - Who writes the blogs, this whole bit and the main friction and science friction. Science friction, the fiction that rubs you the wrong way? I hope not.

Forest Scream - For the stories that no one should read or watch but you will anyway, horrible horror.

Forest Cream - This is for the NSFW content, if my art or teaching career falters I can do Onlyfans, maybe I have already started?
